Usa E Getta/ Monouso

Usa e getta/monouso is a project developed during a residency in Sant'Antioco, Sardinia.

In tis project the artist explores the culture of clothing and the rapid cycle of production and disposal in the fashion industry. By blending cut pieces of clothing into pulp, the artist challenges fast fashion and promotes a more thoughtful approach to garment production. They invited the public to contribute their clothes, turning them into pulp as a collaborative and communal experience. Departing from traditional approaches, the artist focuses on lines, resulting in three innovative lineworks. This project prompts reflection on consumer culture, sustainability, and the stories embedded in our garments.
